This was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the international opportunities within these countries. I’m new to international education, and I learned about so many opportunities. I left the conference with plenty of ideas to implement. Angelic Hardy
By far the best international conference I’ve ever attended in my 20 years of professional experience in that field. Very tailored content, first-class speakers, tons of useful information that keep you abreast of the latest trends and insights related to the international education. The combination of morning info sessions with evening visits to different embassies, gives you a unique, holistic perspective (limited, of course by the 2 days time framework). Witold Wolny, Director of International Programs at the UVA-Wise
WIEC was an excellent opportunity to network with fellow professionals in the field as well as receive valuable information pertaining to international education. A great conference!
Great experience! We hope to return next year!
This was my first time at this conference, and based on my experience, I already am looking forward to attending next year. The specific information I learned and received at this conference will be extremely helpful as we continue to refine and expand our own enrollment management programs.
WIEC ’13 was informative and enjoyable. I recommend the Conference for international program professionals wanting to keep up with trends in Washington and key countries. Norm Peterson
This is my third year attending and continue to learn from the speakers. It is also great to connect with peers to share/seek advice. I’ve been able to gain valuable information that I would not have gotten otherwise. Joy McGrath
Overall I thought the conference was wonderful – the speakers and the embassy visits were informative and I certainly plan on attending next year’s conference. One of the better conferences I get to go to! I thought it was very well organized and packed with a lot of good information to bring back to campus.
A great conference to network with your peers and senior administrators in international education. Marcia Salazar-Valentine
The 2012 WIEC was extremely helpful and featured the most experienced and expert speakers in their respective fields. I plan to attend again! Mark D. Rentz, Director American English and Culture Program, Arizona State University
I like the size of the Conference – allows for face-time with people. Subject matter is excellent.
I thought the Conference to be very valuable. It is most valuable to those who are learning about programs by various embassies.
Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to attend such an amazing event. The site visits and transportation are well-planned, the presentations at each event are very informative.
The Conference was excellent.
Wonderful experience and made some excellent connections. We are already moving forward with new partnerships.
Everything was good. Timing is perfect. 2 days is ideal. The variety of embassy visits and presentations is perfect. It is a very well organized and well done Conference. I look forward to attending next year.
This was the first WIEC I attended and I found it to be informative and very valuable.
My calendar is marked for the 2013 Conference!
This is the one must-attend Conference.
Most of the topics were 100% relevant to me and great that it was full of current and updated information.
As always, a very informative and rich two days in D.C. I plan to attend again next year.
I found the Conference to be very valuable.
The WIEC Conference was a great way to get updated on the latest government scholarship programs and to discuss best practices with colleagues.
In speaking with people from other institutions I was able to do more than just small talk but really exchange challenges and experiences. The networking atmosphere that allowed this to happen.
